Graduate Membership
We welcome into membership graduates from:
- NCDT (National Council for Drama Training) accredited courses
- CDET (Council for Dance Education and Training) accredited courses
- Singing courses at Music Conservatoires
- Theatre Design courses (full-time)
- Royal Academy of Music's Musical Theatre course.
If you are a student on one of these courses we will be happy to take you into full Equity membership as soon as you graduate without you having to provide contractual proof of of professional work within the entertainment industry eg actor, singer, dancer, choreographer etc. Please note that to take advantage of this graduate entry scheme you must apply within 12 months of graduating. Once you are a full member you will receive your Equity card and be entitled to make use of all the services the union provides including the Job Information Service which lists work available across the industry.
