Save London's Theatres Campaign
Was originally set up in 1972 by Equity and its members to campaign against the imminent demise of 16 of London's West End Theatres. This huge campaign was extremely successful and London's Theatreland remains today as a result of this work. However, many theatres come under threat and SLTC continues its work, with the support of Equity members and branches but its financial needs have to be met out of donations and fundraising. www.savelondonstheatres.org.uk
