Equity And Other Organisations
Equity is firmly embedded in the UK entertainment industry and, since it was founded in 1930, has done much to shape the landscape of the industry in regard to working terms and conditions, health and safety, hours and breaks, dance and drama training, tax and national insurance status for artists, legislation and other aspects of the industry.
