Lost Arts Needs You!!!

Lost Arts is a three year project to record everything arts and culture lost as a result of the cuts. The Lost Arts List will then be taken to Government as evidence for the next spending review in 2015.

It could be a show, a tour, a single performance, an outreach programme, training or a festival. Anything. From schools cutting their arts courses to museums cutting the conservation staff and theatres closing down, it’s not just about numbers. It’s about what is cut and how it affects our communities.

It also includes jobs, from those ‘doing’ the arts to those surrounding and supporting them.

For Lost Arts to work, we need you.

Our stories come from the people who feel the cuts the most- within the sector and without. That’s where the Unions come in. As partners, we want you to filter stories through to Lost Arts.

You can do that by emailing maddy@lost-arts.org, filling out the form on our website or getting in touch via twitter at @LostArts_ or Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/lostartslist).

If you don’t have details, that’s fine. Just point us towards the organisation and we’ll do the rest.

Of course, names or any identifiable information will not be put in the public domain.

And if you don’t want to give your name, it can all be given anonymously.

In the meantime, follow us on twitter @LostArts_, retweet us, #followfriday us and help raise awareness of the Lost Arts campaign.

Lost Arts is supported and funded by your Union, along with others whose members are directly affected.

We want to show everyone what we’ve lost, and celebrate the strength and creativity of those trying to save them. If you care about the Arts, support Lost Arts and add your voice to the protest.
