Branch meetings

PLEASE NOTE THAT FROM FEBRUARY, BRANCH MEETINGS WILL BE HELD ON THE THIRD TUESDAY OF THE MONTH.

The next branch meeting will be at 7.30pm on TUESDAY 18th June 2013 in the conference room at the YHA, 14 Narrow Quay, Bristol BS1 4QA (just a few doors down from the Arnolfini - information on the venue can be found here).

We are pleased to welcome award-winning film maker, Jack Price as our guest speaker.

Jack Price 
A film maker for the last 19 years, Jack started as a runner at the Gate Theatre under Artistic Director Stephen Daldry. He then moved onto editing feature film trailers. He directed his first short film at 18 years of age and joined Ridley Scott Associates, aged 26, as a director. His film interests have ranged across documentaries for television, music videos, party political broadcasts, commercials, corporates, short films and virals. 

Jack has won numerous awards for his advertising and corporate work including Winner Audience Award Viral Video 2011 Berlin Short Film Festival, Best Media and Marketing campaign awards, numerous IVCA awards and New york Film Festival awards. Currently in pre-production for the feature film BOOMTOWN, Jack also teaches the Meisner technique at the Actors Center London and The Tobacco Factory Theatre, Bristol.
