For one Sunday each month, King Street, Baldwin Street and the Old City will be closed to motor traffic and opened up for people……

Bristol South MP Dawn Primarolo was in the Speaker’s chair yesterday for a debate about arts and the creative industries in the UK in which embattled Culture Secretary Maria Miller praised the “refurbished and regenerated” Bristol Old Vic.

ARTS COUNCIL UK: A Grant for the arts award has helped Natural Theatre Company set up a new Street Theatre Company comprising solely of Disabled Artists.

THE STAGE: The Brewhouse Theatre in Taunton has left its creditors, including theatre companies and ticket holders, an estimated £500,000 out of pocket, according to the venue’s administrator.
