Saturday 30th April 2011

Equity Members £5 / Non Members £12
Sandy Akerman is Artistic Director of Headbangers Theatre and an Applied Drama Specialist, working as a facilitator, director and drama consultant for issue-based research projects.
Sandy trained in Forum Theatre with Augusto Boal in the 1990s and has specialised in interactive theatre work ever since.
This one-day workshop will be a rich taster in the creation and performance of Forum Theatre for actors and directors. We will explore the structure of the theatre form, how to find our stories and to then convert them to Forum. Acting out our own piece, we will have the opportunity to explore some of the techniques and rules of Forum.
Please book your place by using the form on the 'Documents' page and return it to Sarah Buckland firstname.lastname@example.org.
Group max: 12. The first 12 to respond with payment received will be booked. If there are too many we can arrange another day soon so send your booking form in even if you think it’s too late.
