Branch Banner proudly present - TUC, Feminista & EDL demonstrations

A great turn out on Sat 20 Oct for TUC March with strong branch presence, followed closely by Weds 24th when again Equity banner & Branch banner marched to Parliament in support of UKFeminista's rally & lobbying of MP's.

With the Home Secretary banning EDL in Walthamsow on 27th Oct - the cohesive campaign from local residents & supporters enjoyed a  huge success for the borough. The Branch Banner was present at the static protest celebrating the diverse & cohesive community. Speakers included  Stella Creasy MP, Jean Lambert MEP, Varinder Singh - Sikhs against EDL & Sabby Dhalu & Sophie Bolt from local group - We Are Waltham Forest.

Celebration of the success  - Monday 5th Nov - Harmony Hall, 10, Truro Road, 7.30pm
