JAMIE NEWALL is appearing as Casaubon in the Middlemarch Trilogy at the Orange Tree Theatre in Richmond. George Eliot's novel has been adapted and the production is directed by Geoffrey Beevers. The first two of the three plays, Dorothea's Story and The Doctor's Story are open now and Fred & Mary opens on December 4th. All three then play in repertoire. Trilogy days are also scheduled in the run which goes on until Feb 1st. The whole run is selling out fast!
STEVE NORTH is currently apearing in War Horse at the New London Theatre in the West End.
RUTH POSNER is a member of a new theatre company for older actors called Visibles.
They are having their first showing of ''work in progress'' at the National Theatre Studio on November 22nd.
Fantastic news - a documentary by branch member ANN THEATO "Life At Death's Door", co-written with Steve Spence and starring Brian Blessed, has won BEST DOCUMENTARY in the British Public Radio Awards.
ALINE WAITES has just finished writing and editing a book, to be called A Thing Called Joe; it's not specifically about theatre, but actors and musicians are involved... professionally! More details to follow.
