MICHAEL McCLARE will be reading a selection of poems by the iconic & noted Irish poet Michael McCarthy at the Keats Festival, Keats House, Keats Grove, Hampstead, London NW3 2RR on Sunday June 2nd at 5pm. The evening is to launch the Keats Anthology; John Hegley & other poets will also be reading. JAMIE NEWALL will be appearing in J. B. Priestly's Cornelius in the Brits Off Broadway season at the 59E59th Street Treatre in NEW YORK from June 1st to 30th. This is a transfer of the hugely successful production of a forgotten play, originally written for Ralph Richardson, that ran at the Finborough last year.
STEVE NORTH is currently apearing in War Horse at the New London Theatre in the West End.
NICK SIMONS will be appearing as Harold in "Pilgrims" at the Etcetera Theatre, Camden Town, May 21st - June 9th, Tuesday - Saturday 7.30 pm 6 pm Sundays. This is a new play by Royal Court Young Writers Group writer Sarah Page. It's a 50 minute one act play in 'real time' involving a middle class Midland's family attempting to get their act together to attend Pope Benedict's Rally in Hyde Park in 2010. They don't make it! See why! Black humour & moving relational issues. Do go!
ALINE WAITES has just finished writing and editing a book, to be called A Thing Called Joe; it's not specifically about theatre, but actors and musicians are involved... professionally! More details to follow.
