Information update CRB checks

There are some changes to CRB checks for England and Wales that are of particular interest for performers and entertainers.
The CRB check no longer exists!

The CRB check no longer exists. The Criminal Records Bureau is now known as the Disclosure and Barring Service and has some quite startling changes for us as entertainers Goldini will be passing information of the changes in a meeting soon.

We have been contacted by S4C with regards to a change in requirement with regards to the HMRC. From April 2013 they have to provide details of payments made to employees when the payments are made and not annually as is currently the practice. HMRC have also requested additional information be included within that submission which S4C do not necessarily hold on record for you – they require date of birth, official name by which you are known to the HMRC, as well as your NI
