Join with leading performers and sign the petition to save the arts

Forty-six of the UK’s leading performers have written to the Observer warning that the arts in the United Kingdom are facing the biggest threat in decades from funding cuts at national and local level.

 Equity members such as Kenneth Branagh, Jo Brand, Helen Mirren and Martin Sheen have written an open letter warning that cuts to the arts will affect “not just those working and training in regional theatre, independent arts, the BBC, UK film, festivals, dance or theatre in education, but also those audiences who access the arts and culture through outreach and education programmes, community and youth groups and social care.”
