Simon Preece and Steve Fortune elected to Equity Council

Simon Preece and Steve Fortune have been elected to Equity Council in a by-election. Simon (left) was elected to the Singers seat and Steve to the Chorus and Ensemble seat.
In the election for the Singers seat Simon polled 742 votes with Chris Shaw getting 568 and Eva Lorraine 377. For the Chorus and Ensemble seat Steve polled 677 votes with Martyn Harrison getting 637 and Daniel Page 374.
All Equity members were entitled to vote in this election, but the turn-out was a very disappointing 5 per cent.
