Rates and Agreements

Equity Agreements are negotiated with employers and employer groups to cover all areas of live and recorded media. These collective Agreements cover the detail of working terms and conditions such as numbers of performances, hours, breaks, health and safety, dispute procedures, usage rights, royalties, touring and a host of other things providing a coherent framework for a fast-moving industry.

There are Equity Agreements covering all the areas of work listed below. Agents and employers can get the full agreements from us or their own organisations, Equity members can get copies of the ones relevant to them from the members' area. If you need further help please contact one of our  helpdesks

We negotiate our Agreements cyclically but Equity rates of pay are amended more frequently.
