Updates to the website July 2012

The Equity website will be updated on a regular basis in response to members’ requests and to make sure it continues to function efficiently. See below for a brief summary of the latest updates.

Members’ Landing page

This is now an eye-catching interactive area which brings the most relevant jobs, documents, news and messages to you.

My Messages

Communicate with your fellow members through the website. If you want other members of Equity to communicate directly with through the site, you need to go to the My Directory Listings page in the members’ area, here. Complete your profile and choose the ‘Save’ button, then three tick boxes will appear. To allow other members to contact you through the site, tick the third option (see picture). When members access your directory listing, here  they will see an option to send you a message, these messages will appear in your inbox on the members landing page every time you log into the site.

JIS

The latest job updates will appear once you log on to the members’ area.

Forum

In response to members’ requests, the forum has a simpler structure and a top ten of the latest posts.

News

There is now an archive function for the news, so you can look back on the stories we have covered throughout the year and search for special keywords.
