ORGANISING ASSISTANT, LIVE PERFORMANCE DEPARTMENT, EQUITY (x2)

Equity’s Live Performance Department requires two Organising Assistants to support the work of the Head of Live Performance and the department’s Organisers. Both job roles will contribute to meeting the departmental objectives with a particular emphasis on the recruitment, retention and servicing of members. You will be joining a team of highly skilled Organisers dedicated to representing, protecting and promoting the interests of our members.
As well as a full range of administrative skills the successful applicant will have good communication skills, both in writing and in person, have the ability to organise events, provide initial advice to members on the range of the department’s industrial agreements, provide case work support and undertake member focussed activities. Both posts require a commitment to the role and to the work of trade unions.
The starting salary is £33,650.67 inclusive of London weighting, rising on a scale, with 31 days annual leave and a contributory pension scheme. The posts are based in central London.
