Variety Stroll - Sat, August 19th

8 August 2017

Our summer outings have often ranged further afield: Frinton and Aldeburgh, for example. But on Saturday August 19 we meet up in Colchester to walk through the town's entertaining past, in the company of expert Dorian Kelly and some pop-up personalities. We meet at 11am and you should be away earlyish afternoon.

Discover Colchester's old variety venues and stop for a drink and a bite to eat (the only part you'll pay for) at the old Playhouse, now a Witherspoon pub. We will aim to take our break at tables on the stage, (numbers permitting) looking up at the boxes and gallery.

Rendezvous at the War Memorial outside the Castle at 11am. Please notify us if you are coming, and if you are bringing friends or partners (Equity or not! All welcome). It goes without saying that Equity members from anywhere are cordially invited, whether from General or Variety branches, so spread the word asap.

Leave your message on our Essex Branch of Equity facebook page or e-mail the event's organiser, Liz Mullen - as soon as possible, please. Or TEXT her on 07949 060872.Feel free to provide your mobile number in case you are delayed on the day and need to catch up with us. Please do come, with friends or family members and make our Variety Stroll a day to remember.
