House of Krip casting callout to deaf & disabled

Fittings Multimedia Arts are looking to cast "four fierce performers" who identify as deaf or disabled  for The Unlimited House of Krips, part of the Vogue Ball in Liverpool in October. The applications deadline is Friday, June  2nd. Auditions are June the 19th in Liverpool.

The casting call says: "Each performer must have their own OUTSTANDING personality, be able to serve DIVA attitude without being SHADY, and have the NERVE and TALENT to SLAY the audiences at this year’s Ball. Performers should have experience working in dance or movement and be open to working with simple choreography."

The project has won Arts Council England funding. Performers will be paid a £1,200 fee for the full contract.

Fittings Multimedia Arts is a disability led national organisation that makes popular theatre and artworks characterised by directness, comedy, music, emotion and immediacy.

The time line is:

Submission of performers CVs and images by Friday 2nd June

Selection of candidates and invitations to audition out by Friday 9th June

Auditions Monday 19th June in LIVERPOOL

Selection of the House by Friday 23rd June 

Rehearsals in LIVERPOOL in weeks beginning: 18th September and 16th October with the Vogue Ball on Saturday 21st October.
