Committee member and branch treasurer, FRANCES CUKA, will be appearing in the new series of Friday Night Dinner starting on Channel 4 in February...on Friday nights, would you believe?
The former director and producer of the NEW END Theatre are presenting two performances of DON’T LEAVE ME NOW by Brian Daniels at Heathside School, in Heath Street, Hamspead. This is a new thought-provoking play telling the story of two very different families when dementia strikes. It is supported by Dementia UK. The play was first workshopped with the support of the West Yorkshire Playhouse, Leeds and has now been through eight rehearsed readings at different locations throughout the UK. Wednesday January 29th, 2014 at 5.15pm and 7.15pm

Tickets: £5 payable on the door. Directed by Jeni Draper, with a full professional cast, you will have an opportunity after the 7.15 pm performance to share your views and thoughts on the issues raised in the play and to contribute comments you may wish to share about your own experiences with dementia.
