Details

All members of Equity are encouraged to attend the union's forthcoming Universal Credit & Welfare Reform Roadshow which will be visiting Bristol in July.

Universal Credit & Welfare Reform Roadshow
Many of the welfare benefits people claim to sustain a livelihood in the performing arts are being abolished by the government's welfare reforms. Universal Credit will replace income-based Jobseeker's Allowance, Housing Benefit and many other benefits.

Join us for this free session on Universal Credit & Welfare Reform to find out about entitlement under the reformed system, how it will work and what will happen to the benefits you claim now.

This will be led by Max Beckmann and Alan Lean Equity’s Tax & Welfare Rights Organisers.

This event will be held at 7.30pm on TUESDAY 16th JULY 2013 in the conference room at the YHA, 14 Narrow Quay, Bristol BS1 4QA (just a few doors down from the Arnolfini - information on the venue can be found here:http://www.equity.org.uk/branches/bristol-west-general-branch/meeting-venue/).

This event is being hosted by Equity's Bristol & West General branch. Further information on the branch can be found at www.equity.org.uk/bristolwestgen
