Kevin Spacey has said that despite his Oscar winning career in film, and his current commitment to making and starring in the second 13-part series of House of Cards for Netflix, he still finds theatre a “more liberating” artistic form.

A Channel 4 drama set in the 1680s is currently filming in Bristol.
New Worlds stars Jamie Dornan (The Fall), Freya Mavor (Skins, The White Queen), Alice Englert (Beautiful Creatures) and Joe Dempsie (Southcliffe, Game of Thrones) as young idealists during the Restoration period.
The production is currently based at Redcliffe Wharf (below), and filming has taken place near the Ostrich pub.
