The second in a new series of free monthly networking and professional development meetings this Autumn for stage management.
We are very aware that it can be very difficult to find training to improve working skills these days- especially at reasonable cost and designed especially for stage management. We have teamed up with the Stage Management Association to run a series of training and networking meetings where we will offer expert advice, tips and information in very convenient 2 hour meetings designed to fit around your work and other commitments. Bring a sandwich and we'll do the rest.
Free to members, £10 to non-members. places limited so reserve a space details below.
Session - 24th October: Technicians or Managers? How technical do SM's have to be in a new era of accessible technology? Employers and technical experts advise.
Session 3 - 14th November: Expanding work horizons: SM's and TV. A representative from BECTU will explain how the 'Visions' project is placing SM's in TV jobs, and explore the opportunities and routes for SM's into TV. Assisted by a Head of Production in TV production and experienced TV production staff. Find out what the opportunities are, about the possible jobs to aim for, and how you might fit TV work into your career.
