Bursary for dancers who want to teach

Male dancerThe bursaries are funded by a grant from The Headley Trust (part of The Sainsbury Family Charitable Trusts) and are available to appropriate UK applicants to the following programme:

Professional Dancers’ Teaching Diploma Master of Teaching (Dance)

Application deadline: 31st January 2013

Dr Anne Hogan, Director of Education at Royal Academy of Dance said: “We hope the bursaries will be of interest to professional dancers from the UK wishing to prepare for a new career in teaching or to dancers who are already teaching but who wish to gain an internationally renowned RAD teaching qualification. Graduates of RAD programmes are eligible to become professional members of the Royal Academy of Dance.”
