Job Opportunity at Equity: Distribution Assistant, Recorded Media

Equity is the UK trade union representing over 43,000 professional performers and creative practitioners from across the spectrum of the entertainment, creative and cultural industries.

We are seeking to appoint a Distribution Assistant to join the union’s Distribution Team based in our Recorded Media Department. In this role you will coordinate and process payments received by Equity for performers engaged in audio and audio visual productions. You will provide a professional, efficient and responsive service when liaising with performers and their representatives, external contacts and broadcasting organisations.

To be successful in the role you will need excellent organisational skills with the ability to pay close attention to detail and analyse data. You will be adept at problem solving and possess good communication, customer service, and IT skills.

This role would suit an initiative-taker and self-starter with the willingness and ability to carry out a diverse range of tasks independently and as part of a team.

This new post is a two year fixed term appointment and is based at Equity’s headquarters in Covent Garden, London.

The starting salary is £32,670.55 rising on a scale, with 31 days annual leave and a pension available.
