On 7 May 2026, devolved and local elections take place across Britain. Join us in calling on candidates to add the arts to their agenda - including demanding an end to arts cuts by local councils, a universal basic income for artists in Scotland, and a full ‘culture is work’ manifesto in Wales. Find out how to get involved in thes campaigns below.
Elections taking place on 7 May:
- 136 English Councils will be elected.
- Scotland will elect their Parliament.
- Wales will elect their Senedd.
- Northern Ireland does not have elections this May.
