Representing singers in Equity
Committees represent specific groups of members’ interests. They are elected every two years.
Equity Committees drive union policy, conduct negotiations and make sure needs of all Equity members heard. They submit motions to Equity’s Council and to our annual conference, which can then become policy.
There are committees representing specific sectors, geographical areas, young workers and members facing discrimination for protected characteristics such as disability, race and sexuality. The next elections take place in 2023. Find out more about elections.
