We represent Equity members working in Screen and New Media.
As the Screen & New Media Committee, we advise the Equity Council and takes approved action on any matters relevant to the professional employment of Equity members working in audio and recording and in all areas of audio-visual work to be shown on screen in television, film, games, internet, non-broadcast and commercials. We have been authorised by the Equity Council to submit industrial claims to employers.
Our priorities
Raise awareness among the membership of the current selftape guidelines for scripted drama, commercials, and Deaf and Disabled talent through a “Know Your Rights” campaign, involving supportive members of the CDG and CDA and others in the casting and agent community.
Formal launch of the Equity Supporting Artist Network, support and development of.
Further and wider implementation of green rider action plan including network building, onboarding and events.
