We’re demanding union recognition to end the culture of low pay, unsafe working conditions, and inconsistent shift patterns.
Despite previous attempts, the owners of Crystal Maze, Little Lion Entertainment, have not responded to our request to negotiate as a union, or our reasonable requests for cost of living pay increases. We want our employer to recognise Equity and agree a fair deal for the work that we do. Sign this petition to show your support and demand Little Lion Entertainment negotiate with us.
Why is this important?
The Crystal Maze LIVE Experience is built on the hard work and talents of its performing cast. But as Equity members who work as Maze Masters at the London production, we experience low pay, wildly fluctuating shift patterns, and poor health & safety provisions. We are demanding Little Lion Entertainment, who run the Crystal Maze LIVE Experience, negotiate with us through our union, Equity, for better pay and working conditions.
Equity members are getting organised in immersive theatre. The immersive sector is a major source of work for Equity members and a growth area in the industry, but collectively bargained union contracts are rare. Equity members are regularly working under precarious terms for low pay, and many raise issues around health and safety and harassment from members of the public. As workers, we have the right to bargain for fair pay and conditions at work.
We need your support to show Little Lion Entertainment they can’t afford to ignore us, and they need to come to table for a fairer deal for the Maze Masters.

As a member of the public, I support your workers' request for union recognition, and demand that you recognise Equity as the union for your performers.
