An open meeting to look at the results of the consultation survey and assist in building the claim to SOLT/UK Theatre
Join Equity Singers Committee’s Open Meeting to discuss fees, terms and conditions in the UK Opera Sector.
In 2026, Equity will be submitting a claim for improvements to the Opera Guest Artists Agreement, which determines minimum terms and conditions of engagement in SOLT/UK Theatre Member Opera Houses (ENO, Glyndebourne, Opera North, Royal Opera, Scottish Opera and Welsh National Opera). This includes minimum rates of pay, but also wider terms such as stipulations around working time. Before we submit our claim and begin negotiations, we want to hear from you!
Join Equity’s open meeting to discuss results of our recent consultation survey on the agreement, feed back on your priorities and help to shape our claim.
If you have worked on this agreement, whether you have responded to the survey or not, join us on 26th January 2026 and ensure that your voice is heard.
The meeting will be held in person at Equity’s Offices in Central London and refreshments will be provided. Full Joining Instructions will be sent in January.
