Social media for branches and committees

Join us online on Monday 9 November, 12-1.30pm, for a training session with the Equity Communications team on how to make the most of your branch or committee social media channels.

This training is for Equity members who are responsible for their branch or committee social media channels or are interested in starting a branch or committee social media account. 

Part A: An overview of best practice for social media, staying safe online and a chance to chat to other branches and committees about what works and doesn't on your social media channels. 

Part B: Get inspired to make your own video content for social media - when members speak out on union issues, others listen. Help us harness this resource and put members front and centre in Equity comms. Join us for a fun and practical session, learn about opening lines that grab attention, visual hooks to keep people engaged and the ideal length and formats to make your content stand out. Have a go of making your own campaign video too.
