Videogames Action Day: London
Are you an Equity member who works in games? Join your fellow workers at the first Action Day for the Videogames Network.
Video games performers deserve fair pay, safe workplaces and control over their work.
The video games industry is a dynamic place to work but unethical practices undermine the profession. Pay for UK performers has stagnated despite games being a multibillion-dollar industry with almost £200 million in tax breaks. Performers don't have the protections they need in the unregulated world of AI, the misuse of NDAs is common and health and safety is often lacking.
The day is an opportunity to meet your fellow members, share experiences and be inspired to build the trade union and games industry that you want.
Featuring a panel discussion with speakers from Equity's Choreographers and Movement Directors' Network and Audio Committee, as well as Fossil Free Books.
Lunch will be provided.
