Welcome to the East Midlands branch
The branch usually meets on the second Wednesday of the month, the notice of the meeting sent out in advance gives details. Our venue currently is Curve in Leicester but we have regular appraisals about other venues throughout the region - and there is always a Zoom link! Contact the branch for further details.
The East Midlands branch provides local representation and support for members. It is a regular meeting place to access branch officers and regional representatives who can assist members with issues such as contracts, health and safety, and employment rights. The branch also provides opportunities for members to network and engage with their peers, enabling them to share knowledge, opportunities and experiences, as well as stay informed about industry developments.

Variety Showcase on Wednesday 14th January at the International Arts Centre in Leicester. Doors open 7pm.
The East Midlands branch is subsidising show reels for five of our variety members performing on the night and they need your support!
As well as seeing the wide range of talent we have here in the East Midlands, this will also be a great opportunity to network with your branch members.

Our next event will be a demonstration of Forum Theatre by Theatre director and Applied Theatre Practitioner (and East Midlands chair), Kim Gillespie.
Kim has used this short intense version of the technique in corporate and educational settings as part of effective communication and performance management workshops. This is an opportunity to enhance your CPD and skill-set as part of your creative portfolio.
