Welcome to the East Midlands branch

The branch usually meets on the second Wednesday of the month, the notice of the meeting sent out in advance gives details. Our venue currently is Curve in Leicester but we have regular appraisals about other venues throughout the region - and there is always a Zoom link! Contact the branch for further details.

The East Midlands branch provides local representation and support for members. It is a regular meeting place to access branch officers and regional representatives who can assist members with issues such as contracts, health and safety, and employment rights. The branch also provides opportunities for members to network and engage with their peers, enabling them to share knowledge, opportunities and experiences, as well as stay informed about industry developments.

Celebrating Black History Month

Amanda Leandro, Founder and Director,Cosmopolitan Arts

Founded in 2011 Cosmopolitan Arts CIC, is dedicated to celebrating cultural diversity through the arts. At the heart of the organisation is a commitment to engaging people from all backgrounds, particularly those who may not usually access the arts. They aim to create high-quality, participatory arts experiences that inspire, challenge perceptions, and create community cohesion across cultural and social boundaries

November's branch meeting will be at the Northampton Royal and Derngate Theatre and will include a panel of local producers.

Wednesday 11th November at 6.30pm.

December's branch meeting will be our Xmas Social and will be at the Nottingham Playhouse. Wednesday 9th December at 6.30pm.

JANUARY VARIETY SHOWCASE

This an early call for expressions of interest for a Variety Showcase that is being organised by your branch

After the great success of last years event we are going to repeat the special offer this coming January 2027.
