Committee elections 2025: Candidates announced

Elections will be held for the Committees at the heart of the union's work.

Nominations for Equity's industrial, equalities and national committees closed on Friday 2 May. More nominations were received than ever before, 230 in total. For the first time ever, all 16 out of 16 committees are contested.

Thank you to every member who has put themselves forward or nominated someone else for election. The ballot will open on 28 May and close on 4 July (12 noon). Every member with an email address registered with Equity will receive a link to UK Engage's digital voting platform. Those members without an email address will receive a postal ballot.
