Nominations close for Equity Elections 2026

Ballots will open on 20 May and close on 1 July (12 noon).

Nominations have now closed for the 2026 elections for Equity President, Council, Appeals Committee and Conference Business Committee. 72 valid nominations were received, making for 9 of 24 contested election areas. Following the ballot, all seats will be filled with no vacancies.

Voting will be by post only. Ballots will open on 20 May and close on 1 July (12 noon). When the ballot closes, Lynda Rooke will be re-elected, unopposed, for her third term as President of Equity. Find out more about the elections on our election page.
