Choreographers and Movement Directors Network - Action Morning

A morning of conversation, connection and collective action at Equity's London offices or zoom.

Following a successful two years’ work, come and celebrate what the CMDN has achieved so far and help shape what comes next. Whether you’ve been an active member of the CMDN or are interested in getting more involved – especially if you work in theatre as a choreographer or movement director – this meeting is a great opportunity.

This Action Morning will:

• Launch our Manifesto and Terminology documents to educate the industry on best practice
• Provide a space for choreographers and movement directors to connect and discuss matters arising industry wide right now
• Build an understanding of imminent contract reviews in theatre and independent theatre
• Decide where the CMDN should focus in 2027

These conversations are vital to the strength and power of our network and in turn our Committee. We can’t wait to see you!

The morning will end with lunch provided and we will circulate a form for dietary requirements closer to the time. At the end of the day, there will also be an informal social bringing choreographers, movement directors, dancers and movement artists together to connect, reflect and toast the day.
