Equity and the dance sector in the Midlands

We invite freelance dance artists to an informal meeting to discuss Equity’s work to support our members in the dance sector in the Midlands and beyond. 

Join Equity’s Dance Committee, staff and other guest speakers to discuss the benefits of Equity contracts in dance, the key issues to look at when not working on union agreements, and how we can work together to collectively improve dance artists’ working lives.

You will also hear from invited guest speakers, including Avatara Ayuso, on the benefits to freelance dancers of membership of the union, and we also want to hear from YOU on the issues you face when working, what support is available from Equity, and how we can work collectively to resolve these.
