Wortley Hall Political Education Residential 2027

A two day Equity training course for building union power and organising to win.

To understand the present, we need to understand our past. To win, we need to organise. This course applies both these lessons and prepares Equity members to fight for the dignity we all deserve at work.

Delivered by experienced trade unionists and experts in working class history and political economy, this will be the third year Equity runs this course - delivered with the Centre for Popular Education - Rosa Luxembourg Foundation London Office. Participants leave the course convinced of the power of the union movement to improve lives and change society.

Dates: Sunday 31 January-Tuesday 2 February (arrival in the afternoon of 31st, departure after lunch on the 2nd) 
Location: Wortley Hall, Sheffield, S35 7DB 
  
This course is free and includes accommodation, meals, and expenses for reasonable travel costs to and from the course.

Applications are not processed on a first come, first served basis. Applicants will be selected to ensure a diverse training cohort that reflects the union.
