Join Equity at Durham Pride 2026

Equity is supporting Durham Pride with a £7,200 donation after the annual event had its budget cut by Durham County Council, which is led by Reform. The organisers of Durham Pride have also signed a brand new agreement with Equity, which sets minimum standards for pay, terms, and conditions for performers who work at Durham Pride. Alongside an agreement with Manchester Pride, it is one of the first Pride agreements to be brokered by Equity.

The traditional parade from Durham Cathedral will take place on Saturday 30 May at 11am. The Sands will open to the public at 11am.
