Tolpuddle Martyrs Festival 2026
Join us in Tolpuddle from 17-19 July 2026 for a weekend of music, radical discussions, workshops and above all, a celebration of unity and solidarity.
Equity will have a stall at the festival and we will be marching with the Equity Banner in the Sunday procession.
We are running a minibus from London to Tolpuddle for the day on the Sunday. If you are interested in securing a seat contact Kye on kdudd@equity.org.uk. Seats are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
The line-up
This year’s line-up includes Honeyfeet, Beans on Toast, Girlband!, Joe Yorke, Logic & The People’s Army, Mark Thomas, Maddie Morris, Skimmity Hitchers, Liam Vincent & The Odd Foxes, plus many more fantastic artists and performers.
The festival, run by and for trade unionists, will feature lively discussions on the campaigns, struggles and changes that matter most to working people. You can also take part in the new Tolpuddle Organising School, bringing together activists, organisers and trade unionists to share skills, learn from one another and help build the next generation of activists.
Plus there's also: Tolpuddle comedy, theatre, poetry and open mic, a kids’ area, the DJ tent, our laid-back acoustic sessions, Tolpuddle Unplugged, all topped off by the defining procession of union banners through the village, when trade unionists from across the movement march through the village in a powerful show of solidarity, commemorating the struggle that united the working class to demand the release of the Tolpuddle Martyrs and defend the right to form and join a union. This march is a living reminder that the rights we have today were won through collective action, and that our movement is strongest when we stand united together.
