North West Regional Meeting 2026

Join us in Manchester in late March! This is a great opportunity to hear about the work of the union nationally and locally, and to have your say as a member on which motion(s) will go forward to Equity Conference from your nation/region.

If you haven't attended a union meeting before or for a while, this is a great place to start.

As well as hearing from branches, elected representatives and staff working for Equity about the key campaigns and industrial issues in your nation/region, you will have the chance to meet other members engaged in union activism where you live.

There will also be an opportunity to look around the People's History Museum, and after the meeting there is the option for a radical history Manchester walk, with pies, and finishing up with a drink in a historic Manchester pub. Accessibility details for the walk will be made available to allow as many people as possible to take part, and everyone is welcome for pies and a pint whether or not they want to come on the walk. 

We would encourage all members to attend, you just have to live in the nation or region to qualify (if you're working in the area at the time then you're welcome to attend as well). Please bring along your Equity card or membership number if you have it, but don't worry if you don't. There is no need to RSVP.
