Equity Zooms In On...

Equity is hosting an ongoing programme of meetings via Zoom covering the wide variety of issues currently facing our industry. This includes regular meetings every Tuesday at 10:30am and Thursday at 3pm, as well as additional independent sessions.

As well as this programme of events, many branches are running Zoom meetings for their members. Please see your branch's webpage and check their social media for more information.

We want these meetings to be fully inclusive and accessible. If you have any access needs, including the need for a BSL interpreter, please email Amy on adawson@equity.org.uk. Closed Captioning is available for any meeting you attend - just ask at the beginning via the chat function (this can be done privately to Amy Dawson if necessary).

'Equity Zooms in' was originated by Equity's Equalities committees and many sessions are hosted by its members. Find out about the vital work the committees do by following them on their social media channels: Deaf and Disabled Members CommitteeLGBT Committee and the Women's Committee.

Tuesday 9th June
Equity Zooms in on…Equity’s Workers Inquiry

Equity's Theatre Workers Inquiry is by theatre workers, for theatre workers. It's a conversation for all of us - directors, designers, performers, stage managers - everyone, about the kind of industry we want to build when we emerge from the crisis, and what we need to do to get there. It is about making sure the voice of  workers sits at the heart of recovery plans for theatre and what we want from our work and our industry.

This session is an opportunity for us to discuss the initial results of our survey and plan our next steps. Join us.
