The LGBT+ Network has been created by Equity’s LGBT+ Committee.
It's an informal space for members who identify as LGBT+ to meet, socialise and discuss industry matters - and wider social and political issues - that affect them.
Any member of the union who identifies as LGBT+ can join the Network and propose activities, events or matters for discussion. The Network is also a forum through which LGBT+ members can bring issues to the attention of the LGBT+ Committee. Where any discussion leads to a proposal for specific action or policy then this work can be undertaken by the Committee on behalf of the Network.
