Equity agrees code of conduct with TNT Extreme Wrestling

Equity has agreed a code of conduct with Liverpool-based professional wrestling organisation TNT Extreme Wrestling (TNT).

This code follows similar agreements between Equity and UK wrestling promotions including British Wrestling Revolution, Revolution Pro Wrestling and EVE – Riots Grrrls of Wrestling.

The team at TNT Extreme Wrestling said:

"We at TNT Extreme Wrestling are incredibly excited and optimistic about our new working relationship with Equity. Taking care of our talent has always been one of our top priorities and we hope these new steps taken will only improve this for years to come."

Equity Organiser Stephen Duncan-Rice said:

"I am delighted that another wrestling promotion has taken the important step of recognising a trade union. Equity looks forward to working with TNT in the implementation of their Code of Conduct. This Code provides a Dignity at Work Policy and a set of terms and conditions intended to ensure a professional and safe environment for the highly skilled workers engaged by TNT. This is another step in Equity's efforts to unionise and support this amazing part of our entertainment industry."

Equity is open to talk with any promotion who wishes to establish a similar code. We are serious and proactive in our efforts to make the industry better for the wrestlers.
